CANNOT pass
on the HIV virus
Join the Cayman AIDS Foundation "CAF" in the fight to help stop the spread of HIV here in the Cayman Islands and bring an end to STIGA and DISCRIMINATION around HIV. Not only that, but we could stop HIV transmissions altogether.
We've launched our HIV END WITH ME campaign to spread this message across our three islands.
The theme of this year "CAF" HIV & AIDS Community Awareness Lectures is "HIV ends with me" a concept which we hope will stimulate education, awareness and personal responsibility in the fight against HIV. The theme is open to interpretation and flexible enough to account for differences in education philosophies, whether it is to promote abstinence, safe sex, regular HIV screening, an open dialogue with sexual partners, etc. The aim is to promote education and reduce the number of infections to zero.
Take the challenge and allow your organization to have an HIV-101 Lecture and discussion regarding the transmission and prevention of HIV& AIDS. If desired CAF would be more than happy to provide those lectures and discussions.
We’re working with communities, media, policy-makers and community groups to get this message across to as many people as possible.
By helping to spread the word and ensure that people know the facts about HIV and effective treatment, we hope to tackle stigma and remove the fear that often surrounds the virus.
We hope this will also lead to people getting more frequent and earlier HIV tests.
Please note that we will provide lectures to all organization who confirm their participation.
